Clairvoyance is defined as being able to see at a distance. An example of this would be when a mother instantly knows that her child is injured or in trouble even though the child is not within her physical sight. The powerful bond between mother and child establishes very often a clairvoyant link. The mother sees the event as if she were there. The distance between her and the child does not matter. The connection of love allows her to see the circumstances of her child because of the powerful emotional connection. Emotion and the powerful state of mind of the desire to know, the child is what sets the stage for the mother's clairvoyance. This same ability is what Dr. Vivien does on a regular basis with people all over the world. Dr.Vivien connects with the Divine unconditional love that surrounds and envelopes all, allowing her to see beyond the normal physical limitations of the eyes. Clairvoyance can also be described as seeing something you know is happening, that you cannot physically see with your eyes, however, its as if you were there.

Clairaudience is the ability that Dr. Vivien has to hear guidance that provides her with information that she would not normally be able to know in a linear logical fashion. For example Dr.Vivien was camping in a national forest in New York state, whiling residing in California. She was at the campsite one evening and heard a voice that said, “Your father is suffering a heart attack. You need to call home immediately.” Already having learned to trust her intuition, she walked from the campsite to the public bathrooms where the public telephones were. Dr. Vivien called home and her mother answered the phone amazed that she was calling at the exact moment that her father was experiencing chest pains. This is an example of Clairaudience. The question most commonly asked is how did this event take place and who's voice was it that Dr.Vivien heard? The answers to these questions cannot be proven scientifically but Dr.Vivien believes that each person has this small still voice that speaks to each person in times of trouble. Most people doubt the advise that they are hearing within themselves or worse yet because of being in such a state of turmoil cannot hear the voice of God speaking within themselves. This inner guidance is divine guidance that has been with us from the beginning of time. The ability to hear this voice not just for one's self but regarding other people's circumstances is clairaudience.

Clairsentience is being able to feel someone else’s feelings at a distance. Even though you are separated by geographical space. An example of this would be when my dog Titan was hit by a truck, everyone told me that he was dead and to give up the search. I felt that Titan was not dead but was in fact feeling cold, afraid, and in pain. Having these feelings drove me to continue looking for him even though everyone else had given up hope. Given that I could feel his feelings I knew he was alive and would be found and he was found in a cold, concrete cage at the Animal Shelter. He was shaking and shivering and the vet exam later revealed a soft tissue injury around his neck and shoulders, which explained my feelings of pain.

Second Sight is the ability to see energy fields around people, plants, and animals. Also referred to as seeing an Aura.
